I loved this book. It’s a fun and educational way for kids to learn about our rivers. Ginalina did an excellent job bringing the text, pictures, and message together to engage kids and help them feel they play an important role in protecting our rivers.
The pictures are eye-catching and add a lot of richness and depth to this book. Those reading this book can spend so much time just looking at them and trying to spot all the hidden creatures and gems.
The Mighty River is an excellent book for teachers or librarians looking for a book about nature to use for their read-along. The text is short and engaging. You can have kids spot the creatures in the pictures while reading. At the back of the book, there are also fun activities that kids can do that connect to what they had just read.
