What does your writing space look like?
My writing space is honestly kind of a mess. I have a small desk with a monitor and a laptop stand, and I usually have a bunch of miscellaneous items like lip balm, multicolored pens, whatever book I'm currently reading, and incomplete homework scattered everywhere. But I always make space for my 1L water bottle and my mug for morning tea. Writing this is making me feel like I should clean it up.
If you could spend a day with another popular author (living or dead), who would you choose and why?
I would hang out with Meg Cabot! I read all her books growing up and was a huge Princess Diaries fan. I think we'd have a fantastic time chatting and laughing.
How do you celebrate when you finish your book?
I hit up my TBR pile and enjoy the relief of reading something that is not my own work.
Is there something you do/have while writing that helps your process? (Music, snacks, etc.)
Having hot water within reaching distance is key. I also think putting on music without vocals helps me with my focus.
What book are you currently reading?
The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. It's a thick one, but I'm enjoying every minute.
